Pineapple Flowers
Much of the cake decorating I’ve built a 20 year business on would be considered extra. Something only other cake decorators would want to bother with. Even I get exhausted by my own complicated ideas some times.
Still there are ways of making things beautiful, and full of love, without special tools, ingredients or time commitments.
Pineapple flowers are one of them. Mostly dried thin pineapple slices, gathered at the base can create a luscious textured and beautiful final floral touch, with the added benefit of being delicious.
Touch them with a little bit of edible gold dust or luster to make them shine.
A little bit fancy.
